Our parents are our first teachers. They love us very much and they want us to succeed in life, so they do not teaching us bad things. They are sharing their interests, emotions with us. They are very important teachers, but not the best ones. Few parents understand system of teaching children. Emotionally parents are very close to their children so they can’t give us more objective instructions than our school teachers. For instance some parents afraid to let their child to go for a trip, or to do a hard work, because they think that the child can get hurt. But these things can be important to children. Second problem is that some parents think that their interests are similar with their children. They think that if they love math, the child will love it too, but this is not true way of thinking. Our world is growing up, and things are changing. The knowledge of our parents is getting old. So sometimes they don’t understand us. Saying this I don’t mean that our teachers parents is useless. But in order for young people to get the most necessary knowledge, they should not rely only on what they have learned from their parents.
